Common name: Polar Homomimus

Phylum: Cranidon
Class: Goblivultus
Order: Dryptostenotes

The Yeti of Geb, these polar bear sized predators are the largest carnivorous members of the Homomimus family. Although they can't run very fast, they pack quite a punch. They remain motionless in deep snow, kept warm by their thick layer of fat and fur. Once a prey struggling in the deep snow approaches it, it lunges out and pounds on it using its front claws. It then gores it prey using the horns on its head. They often prey on Snowfort Homomimuses who stray from their fort.
"Polar Homomimus was once depicted as having a "kilt" of fur designed to protect its genitalia. Such a kilt would make it difficult for the animal to move forward."

Common name: Great Creeping Homomimus, Great Creepers, Yeval

Phylum: Cranidon
Class:
Goblivultus
Order:
Heterotenotes

This creature is infamous for being part of a great mixup that confused researchers for 3 years. An error in categorization told that they were inhabitants of Toci1, which is an understandable mistake since the planet is covered in trees and Great Creepers do live in the Great Northeast Swamp. Great Creepers are still also known as Yevals, the name given to them when it was thought to live on Toci1.
Their long limbs enable them to travel from branch to branch, almost without needing ever to jump. If they ever do fall from the canopy, the pattern on their back will provide some camouflage, but they stand a much better chance in the branches of the primitive trees. Their claws enable them to slash at carnivorous plants, their favourite foods, without getting eaten themselves. They dwell further inland than the Dryad Homomimus so the two species rarely encounter one another.

Common name: Mower Homomimus

Phylum: Cranidon
Class: Goblivultus
Order: Lacertavir

These dim witted relatives of the Lacertacredos rely more on instinctive behavior than intelligence. They live in large herds, slowly grazing across the northern end of the Savannah. This behavior leaves long open trails that enables other nomadic animals to travel much faster. The lack of intelligence comes from evolving in large groups, each carrying deadly spikes. This barrage of spikes has helped kept many predators away, so there was no need to invent weapons for protection. The spikes are not part of the skeleton, but grow directly from the skin.

Common name: Super-Clawed Homomimus

Phylum: Cranidon
Class: Goblivultus
Order: Dryptostenotes

These pack hunters of the desert can travel great distances thanks to their long legs. They are perfectly adapted to their environment, with fur color that makes them hard to distinct from the sand even while they're running. Their large hands, feet and ears enable them to lose heat faster when the weather is at its hottest. These sadistic but intelligent predators will ambush prey in the sand dunes by tackling them down. The helpless victim is then torn apart by an onslaught of sharp claws. They are capable of jumping three times their body height.
"The Super-Clawed Homomimus' leaping ability was inspired by Age of Mythology's Anubite."

Common name: Scuba Homomimus, Scuba

Phylum: Cranidon
Class: Goblivultus
Order: Heterotenotes

Perfectly adapted for life in the ocean, they strongly resemble scuba diving humans diving to admire a coral reef. In the morning, Scubas are mainly found swimming in the shallow brackish waters of the Great Northwest marsh. They are merely waking up from sleeping and practicing for their daily dives. At midday, they scout the underwater garden for food, mainly piscivultus eggs and marine pararthropods. They also drink the denser-than-water nectar of various plants.
The Scuba Homomimus is a topic of interest for evolution specialists who often compare the Homomimuses with Earth's monkeys and primates. The main question is whether these animals were already aquatic during the ice age or evolved shortly after the meltdown.
