Heart of the Home

The ceiling in the kitchen is rotting. But amongst the ketchup and chocolate stains and stalactites of dust lies the heart of the home, in blue. Whenever I see it, I remind myself that soon this sweet home in which I grew up in will one day be seen inside a car parked in front of a moving van and will disapear as I turn the street corner.

I'm glad I took this photo just in time: we're getting ready to scrap the kitchen ceiling.
