Pokemon Hageto Region

This is the map of my planned region for my first generation of Fakemon. I worked on the project or several years now so this project is completely ignoring the upcoming Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. As a matter of fact, I will do exactly what my sister does and avoid all kinds of spoilers.

The Hageto region gets its name from the mix of two japanese words: Bridge (Hashi) and Gate (Gëto). The name as a whole refers to one of Hageto's bridges which plays a vital part in the game storyline. The region is based on the United Kingdom (including England, Scotland and Ireland), and takes some elements from France. A second map that lists the different areas will be uploaded in the next few days.

As you may have guessed, this map has been highly simplified, and simply emphasizes on the key elements on Hageto.

I was originally going to submit the Box Art first but at the time I didn't even start the artwork for the legendary Pokémon. Besides, I didn't want to spoil the legendary mascots and I was still pondering what the versions will be.

This generation has 160 Pokémon.

Couple of screw ups here: the bridge that connects the two parts of Hageto is not designed correctly and there's a small island missing to the east. However, that island could also just be hidden by the dense fog.

UPDATE: AUGUST 12, 2013
I have decided that the versions will be Alpha and Omega. They will be followed by sequels Alpha 2 and Omega 2. The versions mascots are Typhon and Echidna for the first games, as well as Lanserum and Wythogen-X for the sequels.
